side widget area is displaced to bottom of page

  I have edited a page in HTML, but somehow this displaces the widgets on the right-hand side of the page to the bottom – see http://inequalitiesblog.wordpress.com/about-our-contributors/ . Any help would be hugely appreciated!

  (Just to make it easier to follow the HTML on the page, most of it looks like this – to make it shorter, I’ve replaced some of the details with shorter descriptions in capitals:

  <div>List of contributors
  Lorenza Antonucci
  <hr /> Lorenza Antonucci
  <p> TEXT…</p>

  Apologies – I’ve now figured out this was caused by a stray <div> in the code…

  It’s always caused by a stray div tag. To prevent it from ever happening again, go to Settings>Writing, tick the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”, click Save Changes.
