Sidebar 1 Widgets Stuck

  Whether you can help or not, thanks ahead of time for considering my question! I have read the Forums and so far no answer!

  Problem: While re-arranging my widgets today (no change of theme)some sidebar 1 widgets got stuck and I want them removed.

  Comments:
  After moving a lot of widgets to my Sidebar 2 (and adding a few) I returned to my homepage and noticed two widgets in the first column (Recent & Links).
  1. Going back to the WIDGETS section with the Sidebar 1 tab open I get this –
  Message: “You are using 0 widgets in the “Sidebar 1” sidebar. Add more from the Available Widgets section.
  If I look to the Available Widgets column I in fact see that Recent Posts and Links show as still available (there is an Add button next to them)

  What I have tried:
  Turning the computer on and off

  Thank you for any help you can give me. If you need my password to get into my site just let me know.

  I installed an empty text box in Sidebar and the unwanted widgets disappeared.
