  Hi there!

  Without extensive theme modifications, you wouldn’t be able to simply remove it – you would need to rewrite how the theme behaves, which is beyond the scope of support we can provide.

  You might be better off finding a theme that is already set up as a “full width” or “one column” theme and customize it from there:
