  Hi there,

  One way to display two images side by side in your sidebar is to use the Gallery widget. You can add this to your sidebar under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard.

  When you add the Gallery widget, under Style you can select Tiles, Square Tiles, or Circles to have the images display side by side. If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

  You are correct — the Gallery widget does link the images. You can choose whether you want the images to link to the Carousel, the Attachment Page, or the Media File.

  If you don’t want the images to be linked, you can also use a Text Widget to display images side by side in your sidebar. You will need to use HTML code to do this.

  If you don’t know HTML, you can use the Visual editor to create the HTML code for you. In the Visual post editor, insert the images you want to use, at the size you want them in your sidebar. Then, switch from the Visual editor to the Text editor. You can copy the HTML from there and paste it into a text widget.
