    Hi, does anyone know if I can adjust the width of the sidebar, I’m using the Piano Black theme?

    Hello there! I may be able to help, depending on how you’d like to adjust the sidebar. Are you hoping to make it wider or narrower? Precisely, how would you like it to look? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

    Hi there, thanks for getting back to me….I was hoping to narrow it. I have placed a Twitter widget in the sidebar and narrowed it, and I really want to narrow the sidebar to suit?…..Thank you

    Hello there! Well, what appears to be the margin on the sidebar is actually the default background image for the Piano Black theme. It’s a fixed image, that cannot be adjusted. However, we can make adjustments to your coding that might be more aesthetically pleasing to you.

    Try this:

    While logged into your Dashboard, click Appearance → Customize. In the right-hand menu, click CSS. Paste the following into the CSS Revisions box beneath all existing code:

    #main .widget-area {
    float: right;
    overflow: hidden;
    margin: 1px;
    width: 25%;
    background-color: #111;
    }

    #main {
    background-color: #222;
    background-image: none;
    border-width: 0;
    margin: 3px;
    width: 99.5%;
    }

    .widget-title {
    margin-top: 20px;
    }

    Save your changes.

    Let me know what you think. It adjusts the look of your site a bit, but if you want to narrow the sidebar area, it may be the best solution. Thanks so much!

    Hi…That has worked a treat, thank you so much….

    Do you know if its possible to place the Twitter widget etc at the bottom of the page or does it have to placed inside the sidebar, or can you add an additional side/bottom bar?

    thanks again,

    Sofia x

    Great! Glad that worked :)

    Your theme doesn’t have a footer, so it cannot be placed below your content. However, you can place other Widgets in your sidebar ABOVE your Twitter widget, which would push it down the page.

    Or, you could embed it directly onto a Page of your choice:

    I hope this helps! Best wishes to you.

    Hi there….Do you know how i embed the Posts widget directly onto a page (similar to: [twitter-timeline id=466281829369016320 username=sofia_findomme] for Twitter)

    I want Posts to be in the main area of my blog page, not the sidebar?

    All the best

    Hi Sofia, It appears as if you’ve figured out how to get your posts to appear on your front page. Your blog is currently set up for this as a default. All your new posts will appear automatically on the front page, unless you change this setting.

    For some more information about Posts, check out the following link:

    Thank you!
