Sidebar?

  It may be my Theme (Ryu), but I have no sidebar. Do certain themes not have sidebars?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You appear to be correct. It seems that Ryu does not offer a sidebar. However, the theme’s description notes, “Four optional widget areas are located at the top panel with social media links and a search field.”

  You can find themes with sidebars when you visit the Themes gallery:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/

  Click ‘More’ and look for Layouts. Then you can choose between:
  One column
  Two columns
  Many columns
  etc.

  Thanks for the reply and the “conformation” of my suspicion regarding the “Ryu” theme / no sidebar. Everything is accessed from a dropdown menu from the top of the page. I’m not going to complain about a FREE theme, it’s just that a number of WordPress instructions and tips are not universally applicable.

  “Ryu” is the theme that interest to me, so I think I’ll live with any limitation!

  I had noticed that WordPress did indicate that certain things were not available for a given theme. I think that the nature of WordPress makes it difficult to track every caveat for all themes.
