Sidebar – adding opt in box

    I had opened up a similar topic on this last week and thought it was resolved, but now I see a blog done by someone else that has exactly what my client needs. Basically, we want an opt in box where visitors can sign into an AR on AWeber. The blog I saw is by Rich Schefren and is at strategicprofits.com. His is an AR set up in 1 Shopping Cart. Does anyone have an idea of how he did this? I looked at the code and here’s what is at the beginning:

    <div id=”links”>

    <h2><span class=”title”>Subscribe</span></h2>

    <div id=”search”>
    <div id=”search_area”>

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    That’s not a WordPress.com blog. That is a WordPress.org blog.

    I do not think you can use that code in a WordPress.com blog, which is the answer you got last week as well.

    You are looking at a wordpress.org blog and assuming it’s the same as a wordpress.com blog when this is not the case. We run on different software.
    I would like to suggest that you read the pink sticky post at the head of the forum titled “please read first before posting”. It clearly outlines the differences between wordpress.com blogs and services and wordpress.org services and I sense that self-hosting a wordpress.org blog or hiring a web host who experienced working with wordpress.org technology may be the best choice for your client.

    As per teh other thread, forms are stripped for security concerns. I think by “optin box” you mean a form. if not, please let us know.
