Sidebar Ads

  Hi, I noticed lately that there are two ads on the sidebar; one at top of the sidebar and one at the bottom. I’m wondering if there is a way to hide the ad at the top of sidebar. In other words, I want to show the ad at the bottom only!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I cannot see what you refer to. Will you please provide an example for Staff?

  Screenshots can be very helpful. You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

  Hi, thank you and sorry for delay in replying. This issue can be solved by CSS. The WordAds settings show only a setting for placement on Sidebar or not. However, the sidebar has two ads as per the attached screen shot:

  The WordAds group have asked that ads not be hidden with CSS. I’ll contact them and ask them to respond to this thread to help you out.

  Hi!

  Hiding Ads by using CSS is not something we recommend to do, that’s because advertisers could see that as an attempt to scam, since the Ads are still there but they would be hidden and it could end up as something damaging for your impressions and earnings.

  You can control all the ads displaying settings from here:

  https://wordpress.com/ads/settings

  and turn off the whole sidebar ads display.
