sidebar and post page width

  I use twentyeleven theme and I would like to have the left sidebar visible even int the post page, is that possible? If it is not possible with twentyeleven, do you know which themes allows me to always show the left sidebar on the posts pages?
  And, if I change theme, do all my personalizations (colors, header, changed width, widgets, etc.) remain?

  Moreover the width of the post area on the single post page is smaller than the width of the post area in the main blog page (I previously modified the width of the entire page and of the two parts with CSS). I would like to have the same width of the post area that I have in the Home page on the single post page. How can I do it?
