Sidebar and short posts

Im using the YOKO theme and while I realise the theme is responsive Id like the sidebar to show on ipads. Is it possible to do this?
Also, is it possible to have all my posts as short ie 3-5 lines on the blog roll instead of my home page being full of the entire posts? Ive tried to do this with gallery or aside and neither work in this way.

Hi there,
Unfortunately the yoko theme doesn’t really provide a way to put your sidebar actually on the side of your blog when viewing it on a mobile device. It will always move the sidebar elements to the bottom of the screen.
In regard to your second question, yes you can indeed have your posts just be short previews on the home page with links to the entire post through the use of the “More” tag. You can find out about using that right here:

Ref the sidebar I’m sure there must be a way as I’ve seen CSS coding for it on google searches; I can’t quite make head of it though. Here’s an example http://veggietorials.com/about/
