Sidebar and title font changed

I’m not sure what I did, and I don’t know how to fix it…(I’m new at this) But I just posted my last post http://www.niqqi.wordpress.com and the font changed in the sidebar and the older posts titles. Please help!! Thanks! Niqqi

Looks like you are pasting from Microsoft Word. That’s not a good idea – see this FAQ http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/09/why-not-to-use-word/ If you want to use different fonts and font sizes in a post, you are better off using an offline blog editor, like Windows Live Writer, to do so.
In the meantime, edit the post, and use the eraser icon (see http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/ ) to try to clean it up.

Thanks for the tips. So…will using the erase tool restore all the font sizes throughout the blog? My last post seems to be okay…but what changed (and I don’t know how) was the rest of the blog…including the sidebar and the titles of all the other blogs. I did not touch any of these and I am not sure how to get even get to the side bar to change the font.

It should. The problem is usually an open tag, Word has its own version of HTML that isn’t like the rest of the world :( It puts funky codes in that break everything else.

After pulling my hair for a while, I decided to delete that page, paste my original to notepad, paste it back to WP and upload it again. That seemed to work. It’s good to know about word not working…

You can paste from Word into the html editor, which will strip out all the code. Then you can switch to the visual editor and format the text as you want it.
