Sidebar and Widgets
-
I have the Flounder theme. While customizing, specifically adding and rearranging widgets: They appear below my menu in the first column (I LIKE THAT) and then my posts are in the second column. However, when I save the changes and go look at my site, all the widgets have been shifted over to a THIRD column on the other side of my posts (I DONT LIKE THAT). How can I keep my sidebar on the left side under my menu? Two columns seems a lot less crowded and more aesthetically pleasing than three. The menu seems so empty and sparse on the left side without anything under it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think this is due to the theme behaving differently at different screen sizes. At the bottom of the theme information page for Flounder it says “At screen widths under 1280 any widgets in the right sidebar move into the left sidebar area, and the theme adopts a two-column layout.”
I think what’s happening is when you are customizing, the customizing bar makes the remaining screen size smaller so the widgets move to the left. But when you finish customizing you get your full screen size back again so the widgets shift back.
It looks like is how the theme is meant to behave I’m afraid :(
