Sidebar appearance using Minnow theme
-
I am currently using the Minnow theme. I noticed that my side bar is currently hidden until i click on the tab on the top right side. How can i change it so that the widgets from the side bar automatically appear (and thus are easily accessible for my viewers)? Thank you for help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Minnow theme is designed to show the menu and slide-out sidebar only after clicking the menu icon (three horizontal lines).
If you wish to display the sidebar upfront then you will have to pick a different theme.

Thank you for the help. Would you recommend a similar theme that does have that functionality?

I can only get the sidebar to work in preview mode. I’ve added widgets and also a menu. When I look at the source code on the live site, I can see the items are there in the sidebar, but when I click the 3 lines, nothing happens. Works like a charm in preview mode.
Any suggestions on how to make this work?
I absolutely LOVE this theme – just need to get past the one glitch!

I am fairly sure there is some Javascript involved in showing and hiding the side menu which means our hands are tied as we can’t fiddle with Javascript.

Hi! So I’m using this theme as well and previously I was using some other one and it already had an “about” tab where it directed you to my about page. But I cant seem to find it on the minnow theme, although if you manually type in the “/about” the page will come up. Help please!!

You have about page. Now you just have to create a menu and add the required pages to it.
Adding Pages section of the Menu support document explains how. Please give it a try and you should be able to see your menu.
