Sidebar appearing below the main page content

  Hi Everyone,

  I’m new to WordPress and having some issues with my sidebar which, for whatever reason, appears below the main page content and not on the right side of the page.

  Can anyone advise on how to get it along the side of the page please?
  I don’t know html or editing for php files.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  That’s the way the theme is deigned, and the label “Sidebar” in Appearance > Widgets is mistaken: it should have been “upper footer widget area”. If you need a sidebar, you need a different theme.

  Thank you very much for your help. I guess I have to change the theme.
