Sidebar changes
-
Hello!
I’m new to wordpress and I’ve been perlexed over the past few hours because my side bar with widgets has changed. Previously, there were headings like, “Search it!, Feed it!, Links!” and now it seems I can’t get the original headings back.
The RSS “Feed it!” link has also gone and I’ve been playing around with it to get it back but it’s not going back to its original form. This also applies to the original “Links – Blogroll” heading. That’s gone too!
If anyone can help me get it back to the way it was, that’d be much appreciated!
Jennifer

All themes have a default display of widgets and if we move one then we must select and install all the widgets we want as our choice over rules the default widgets. See > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/09/28/the-no-widgets-paradox/

Each theme comes with a default set of widgets.
When you add a widget to your sidebar, the default set disappears,
Then:
You are in control, not the default. Just add the widgets you want to the sidebar and you will be good to go.
