Sidebar costumizations

Hi. Does anyone of you know how i can change backgroundcolor, font-type, and font-color in my sidebar? Wich codes do i use, and where? I have by the way tried to change the font color of my headlines in the mainsection, and i cant seem to get it changed. What am i doing wrong?
And how do i remove the pages-colloums on the top of my blog? I would like to put the pageindex into my sidebar instead with a widget.
And last question. I cant locate the “next and previous page”-line at the bottom of my blog. I must have done something wrong in the css costumation. How do i get it back?

Are you aware of the limitations of CSS editing of wordpress.com blogs? Purchasing the CSS upgrade does not change the fact that we cannot edit the underlying templates for our blogs. You can do nothing that affects functionality. Uou can only make changes to appearance. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
Also there is no Staff support for this upgrade and that’s why the CSS upgrade is only recommended to those who have CSS editing experience and who are prepared to work on their own. That means you may be waiting for some time until someone enters this thread and helps you.
