sidebar customization

  My blog has sections and I want a customizable sidebar menu to serve as an index for each. Is there a template you might recommend? I am currently trying to create it in Academia and there appears to be no way to customize sidebars for different sections.

  I also need to change pictures for each section and Academia seems to only allow for one static image and I don’t want to use a slider! Thanks.
