Sidebar disappears in Twenty Eleven

  • Unknown's avatar

I work for a University and use their WP blogs signing on with my work ID so I don’t have a WP sign in per say to post on forums. I also have my own WP (twentyten) and I am using that log in. I’ve just created a work site w/ (twentyeleven) theme. I want to use it more like a page so I configured it to open on a static page or post (is one better than the other?). Now the side bar goes away. I want the side bar to be present at all times. If I leave the latest post as the default home, the sidebar shows up but I don’t want the latest post as my home page.

    Site is still in progress

    Appreciate the help on this!

As the supportbot suggests, you are in the wrong forum. The site you are talking about is a self-hosted wordpress.ORG installation. Head over to the wordpress.ORG forums as that is where the software you are using is supported.
