Sidebar drops to the bottom (in FF too)

  Hello there,

  I went through the forums and found a lot of things said about IE bugs with floating sidebars and stuff. however, i think the bug i am battling with right now is different, because it affects just the same Firefox browser i use.

  I wrote a post and i after i published it, i noticed that my sidebar suddenly dropped to the bottom. Removing the post did not help. The strange thing is, if i go to other static pages, there it appears correctly. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

  OOPS! You’re in the wrong forum if you have a self hosted or web hosted blog and I can’t see a blue nav bar at the top of yours. So I think you need to ask your question over here http://wordpress.org/support

  However, if it turns out that you are a wordpress.com blogger and yours is a css customized theme then what usually causes the “dropping sidebar” phenomena is uploading an image into the blogging space that’s too large for the blogging space.

  Thanks for info. yes i am self-hosted and yes, by trial and error approach, i figured out that the problem is related to images. Though i am not sure how they size is involved, because all of the images i post are of the same dimensions, and only some of them trigger the problem.

  Anyway, i will ask for a support on this issue.
