  What is the code for changing things in the sidebar i.e. color, font, etc.

  There is no “the code”. CSS is dependent on to many factors.

  you can edit sidebar only if you have the source code of wordpress on your PC, but in this wordpress.com you cannot do this, it’s not possible! ;)

  Oh Please! Changing fonts and colors is absolutely possible with wp.com. If you know how.

  You can code the text widgets by adding html. You don’t need the CSS upgrade for that.
