Sidebar & feature image

    Hi, my side bar keeps appearing at the bottom of the page but I want it on the side. I’ve seen a blog with the same template and hers appeared on the side. Also my feature image is really dark and I was wondering how to lighten in?

    Thanks, xogirl

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I see some HTML syntax errors in the post titled “Thrift shopping” that are probably throwing off your sidebar layout.

    If you switch to HTML view in the editor you’ll see this block of code, which includes a bunch of stray tags:

    [caption id="" align="alignleft" width="500"]<img src="https://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/12428960.jpg" alt="Image result for second hand clothes memes" width="500" height="334" /> Second hand<br /><br />
    <div class="mceTemp">
    <dl id="" class="wp-caption alignnone" style="width: 500px;">
     	<dd class="wp-caption-dd">clothes are also great if they come from charity shops because that means they're going to a great cause.[/caption]

    I have had so many great experiences with this method of shopping and people throw away really expensive brands sometimes! It's also nice to know that you're helping someone in need. I hope you found this helpful and try it yourself!

    &nbsp;</dd>
    </dl>
    </div>

    Try removing all the bits of code there, and then switch back to the Visual editor and reinsert your image and its caption.

    Let me know how it goes.
