Sidebar got disappeared

  My right sidebar got disappear compaletely. If I try different theme it it shows half of it. Otherwise I can not see at all. There is no follow button there now or I can not see the list of recent blogs ets

  Hi there,

  If I remember it correctly, Twenty Twelve theme will not display a sidebar if there’s no active widgets put into its sidebar widget area.

  Try looking at Appearance -> Widgets, and move the widgets from the Inactive Widgets box, or make a new widget, and the sidebar should appear.

  The main gotcha here is that if you change a theme to another, your widgets become inactive, so they don’t show up. In some rare cases where a theme got a “code connection” with the new theme, some widgets might show up. But generally, if you switch theme, the widgets need to be put back again.
