Sidebar has disappeared. Why?
-
Suddenly last night my default widget sidebar area has completely disappeared. I hadn’t made any changes in settings that might have triggered this.
I’ve checked via the customise/widgets tool and all seems to be exactly as it should.
Anyone know why this disappearance has occurred and what I can do to fix it?

I see your sidebar is in the footer of your site. This is due to some hidden html-code in a post. Do you copy your text from Word or do you write it directly in the wordpress editor?

Thank you so much for your help. I write some of the text directly into the editor but quotes I tend to copy/paste from Pages. I’ve never had an issue before with that but I’ll know in future to be on the guard.
I’ll give the live chat a go too

As an update – I used the live chat option (very helpful). It turned out to be some issues with two hyperlinks. All fixed now to my huge relief. So thank you once again
