Sidebar Has Moved To Bottom Of Page
-
Instead of it’s usual place on the right side of the page, my sidebar has moved to the bottom, below the last blog posting. Help! http://www.nbc5streetteam.wordpress.com.

The image on Art Ahora to 570px wide, and the maximum image width for your theme is 500px. Edit the post and make the image smaller by clicking on it and dragging a corner handle.

I’m actually having the same problem but I don’t think it is image size. I had an image that was about 300px wide so I don’t think that was the problem. I deleted it just to be sure and I’m still having the problem. The post is: http://chrissandel.wordpress.com/2008/04/22/rejected-childrens-books/
Any ideas?

@chrissandel, I don’t see anything really wrong with that post although there are a few tags in it that make me thing that perhaps the first part of it was pasted from somewhere else; a different program, or perhaps from the web?
Set your blog temporarily to display only one post per page (settings > reading) and then go through the posts one at a time to see which is causing the issue.
In both Firefox and Safari 3.1.1, the sidebar is where it should be.

Sacred path. I changed my mind, I like the new panel very much now that I see all the new goodies that you have given us.
I am still having two issues.
1) On the old panel moving the widget from side one to two was pick and drop. How do we do it in the new panel
2) When I post an image, it always goes to the top of the page. In the old panel, I could designate a spot for it to go to. Now I have to post, it goes to the top, then I cut and past to the new location
3) Not sure how and when the gallery goes away. When can I start a new library. Can I add the old one. When I edited part of the gallery it, it delted the picture in the library.
4) I am trying to do a Table of Contents and Index page. I read all the FAQs. There is no easy way is there. We have to manually create a TOC. by cutting and pasting and cratding a static page.
5) Technorati is not updating my http;//www.rupeenews.com site. I manually ping it daily.

The sidebars are fine in Firefox and in Safari. I don’t have window running so I cannot check IE or FF on XP.
In your lefthand sidebar, under a fresh perspective on Asia, the two map images are too wide for the sidebar. Make those smaller and see if that fixes it.
FWIW, you do know that by using so many tags that your posts are not showing up in the wordpress global tags pages do you not? The total number of tags + categories has to be 12 or under or you are excluded from the global tags pages. Example: 1 category + 11 tags = 12 total.

@thesacredpath: I took out the image entirely, but the sidebar is still at the bottom of the page.

@marcus5000 – Check the post The Conscious Caterer. When I looked at (most of) your front page posts individually (starting at the top), things were fine till that one. I don’t know if the rightmost photo is too right or if there’s errant code.
Set your blog to show only one post at a time and you’ll see what I mean and if there are others prior to it.

Bingo! Thx for troubleshooting for me ellaella… it wasn’t the picture, but I took out all excess code and it straightened out.. appreciate it!
-
You’re welcome. If the code was the result of pasting from Word or another site..don’t do that. :)
-
Sacred path thanks.
I will remove the extra tags.
Is there anyway to get a hypertext linked listing of all the articles on the blog?
