Sidebar hides when entering a Blog’s entry
-
Hi all,
I am hosting a WordPress Blog on my own Webspace. Whenever I load the Blog it looks like this: http://mitglied.lycos.de/thestoepsel2001/blog/ Pretty usual, right? Right! But as soon as I click a link and thisway select a specific blog entry (click on test1 or test2 if you like) the sidebar disappears!
Does anyone know now how to fix this problem???
Greetings,

That’s the template you’re using. Pick one that doesn’t do that.
You need to be over at the WordPress.org site, as they’ve got a very different system of templates, etc than we do here at WordPress.com.
-
What exactly do you mean by “template”? And how do I change it? Is it the theme you are talking ’bout???

The template is the visual style of the blog. Yes, the theme. You need to change it, and I have absolutely no idea how you do that. The people at WordPress.org will, though; they do that all the time.

Got it… If you run your own WordPress you have an “Themes”-Chart in the admin-section! It works – thanks!!!

If you run your own WordPress hosted elsewhere, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the support site for the software. You’re just confusing people here if you continue to post as our answers would be different as we’re using different software.
