  When I put the code into the text widget to create an image link in the sidebar it doesn’t display and when I get back to it, it has been changed, with bits missing, I have tried over and over again. Same thing is happening with my feeburner: subscribe using email link, will not stay as a functioning link, always bits of the code are deleted as soon as I save???

  Help very frustrating.

  Please give us a link to your blog, starting with http.

  Also, please paste the code here, between backticks so we can see it. The backticks are on the same key as the ~ and look like this `.

  That makes the code display instead of the forum trying to execute the code, so we can see it. Put one backtick at the start of the code and one at the end, for each widget.

  If the word “javascript” appears anywhere in the code, that’s your problem. Javascript is disabled at WP.com and you will need to find another way to make the widget you want.
