sidebar in pictorico theme
-
I want to force a side bar to post page alone in pictorico theme. Any Ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Could you please provide the address of the blog you need help with and clarify which sidebar?
As far as I am aware, Pictorico theme does not sport a sidebar.

the site is thereddotmanart.com, its currently my test site and it’s private. Is there anyway I can let you access it without making it public?
-
You can invite me to view your blog as documented in the Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers support document.

Thank you. Now I can see your blog.
What do you think is the sidebar? I can’t see any sidebar. Could you please elaborate?
-
Ok, in my very first comment on this thread you can see my original blog. thereddotman.com. If you click on any post from the homepage, on the right side, you can see a column with images, links, fb like box and stuff. That’s the sidebar. Atleast, I think it is. This is not visible when you click on a post from the home page in pictorico. I want pictorico as well to show that side bar. Hope I am making sense.

Ok I got it now.
That’s correct. The theme of your original blog, The Triton Lite, allows a sidebar so we can add widgets (images, links, fb like box and stuff) to it.
But Pictorico is not designed to sport sidebars. So it cannot show any sidebars. The only place we can add widgets in the Pictorico is the footer. Pictorico’s footer indeed has not just one, but four widget areas :-)

Yeah, I thought so too. I was hoping if CSS can help me make a break through some-how. Can it?
-
Alternatively, can I increase the size of the sticky post slider in the triton lite theme? It’s the one which you see first thing after the header menu on the homepage of my original blog.

@ irfarious,
Please see my response regarding the width of the sticky post slider with the Triton Lite theme at your recent topic Triton lite slide size. -

I guess I can close this topic then.
You might want to change it back to “unresolved.” I made an error due to a zoom setting. I remember now that I zoomed out when first came to your website because I couldn’t see the WordPress.com and theme links in the footer widget area. Later I forgot about the zoom setting. Sorry.

No worries, we can carry on the conversation on the other thread. Btw, staff-happychia, even if you can come up with an idea, do let me know.

CSS can’t add sidebars to the page. So this topic can be closed.
