Sidebar is shifting down the page
-
I thought I posted this, but it doesn’t seem to be here…so please accept my apologies if this is a double post:
The right hand and only sidebar on my site has suddenly shifted down the page, quite far. You have to scroll a full screen to see it. I created the site in Explorer. This is happening in Explorer, so it shouldn’t be about compatibility. It was fine, it was fine…poof. It fine in Safari still. I’m sure there’s a place in the code to address this, but I don’t know what it is. Is there a setting in WP that could cause and correct this? -
Just an idea. Make the “positioning” of the container where sidebar sits to be “absolute” and point the exact position for this container. Absolute means it wil be positioned relative to the page and not the other containers. I would also check the sizes of other containers holding header, content, footer. Probably they change depnding on the content causes the shifting of the sidebar…
