sidebar margins in almost spring
-
I use the Almost Spring theme, and my sidebar widgets are smushed together. You can see it on my blog:
http://egypt4.wordpress.com/Is there any way to fix this short of a paid upgrade? (I know I can switch themes, but I’m wondering if there’s a fix within this theme.)
Thanks!

Maybe you could try putting a ‘<P>’ at the end of the text widgets and the next widget will have some space in between. But since you can’t do this with the other widgets it won’t be much of a use.

You can use
<br/>at the end of each text widget to create space. If you use<p>as suggested above then you will have an open tag and your blog will not validate. -
DARN! I made a mistake we will try this again. Note that this is a self closing tag and that there must be a space between the br and the /

No problem I spent months making mistakes. It’s the only way to learn. Hang in there. :)

P.S. I still make mistakes now but I don’t let them deter me from continuing to learn. ;)

Thanks. I used two break tags and it looks better.
I might try adding in a text widget in between the other sidebar widgets, and the text would only be the break tag. Hmm.
Thanks.

Thanks for the encouragement, I’ll hang in here till death. You know, as they say when they’re gonna hang you..to be hanged till death. ;)

And yes eqypt4, you can add empty text widgets in between but there are only 9 of them so you might run out of them soon.

That’s what I did when I was using Almost Spring. There was still an issue with some of the headers being closer to the widget content than others, but there’s nothing we can do about that on our side.
