Sidebar Mess
-
I set up the standard kubric blog. I’ve added to my blogroll and noticed my links in the sidebar. great
Then I thought I’d be smart and add stuff to the sidebar.
Now I’ve lost everything in my sidebar.
How do I get back to my original sidebar

I see your sidebar fine using Netscape 7.1.
To delete the widgets, just remove them from your sidebar and drop them back into your Available widget pool.

I have a similar problem. I have other WordPress blogs and I know how to make the sidebar, use widgets, etc.
But I started a new one and changed the sidebar, didn’t like the changes, and now can’t change it back. I want to start by getting the default sidebar back but the button (there used to be one) for that does not appear. I am trying to take away some of the things I added – category cloud, for instance – by dragging and dropping them, and I do know how, but they do not go, they just move around in the sidebar. It is weird. I am at http://mestizajes.wordpress.com.

Several people have reported the immovable widget problem. It’s a recent one and requires a staff fix, so contact staff during their office hours using the Support button on your dashboard.
