Sidebar messed up: shows private pages Sandbox 0.6
-
Today I checked my blog and the sidebar is showing pages I labeled “private”. So, my sidebar is messed up.
Didn’t touch anything. If you go to http://www.contrarrima.wordpress.com, you’ll see the sidebar first section showing the private P page(as a parent page) and all its “children”.
Is anybody around with the same problem?

Right now, you might want to take the pages widget out. That will solve your immediate problem. Staff support will open in about four hours, so you will be able to contact them then in case it is something they changed.

There is no page widget in my sidebar. My children pages are placed in some of the text widgets. The parent page P is not placed in any of the widgets, so it’s not supposed to be seen.
Besides, I checked the blog with Explorer and the situation is worst: the whole sidebar is a mess.

Then you might want to temporarily remove those text widgets. Staff will likely not be available to help you for a few hours yet.

Mark’s temp fix works for Firefox but not for Explorer.
It seems that I have to wait until Support opens.
I appreciate your “lies” raincoaster!
Thank you guys.

I made my blog private. I am going to make it public in 30 min.
Hope this could help Mark with his tricks. If not, I can always wait for Support.
Thanks anyway.

byktor, the problem should be solved now. Please, have a look to see if there are any other issues.
Just a note: the pages list was showing, because in the Sandbox theme, there are two sidebars, which are shown one above the other. You have left the primary sidebar in its default state, which shows the pages. I moved some of your widgets to the primary sidebar, so that it isn’t empty and its default content isn’t shown.
Happy blogging,
Nikolay. -
