Sidebar missing
-
Hi, I wanted to add widgets in the sidebar of my blog (this theme has it), but the site does not give me the ability to place the widgets there, and I don’t even see the bar ._.
how can I regain the sidebar?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Under the Page Attributes section, when you create/edit a page, select ‘default template’ for this theme. It does support a sidebar like you mentioned and there are other options to browse too. Perhaps, the ‘no sidebar’ option is toggled for you which makes the sidebar disappear.
Hope the issue resolves.

Hi cencifrancesco!
You are using the BaskerVille 2 theme, you can learn more about it here Baskerville 2 theme.The Baskerville has a option of Sidebar in the Contributors template, if you go to the below link
https://baskerville2demo.wordpress.com/contributors-template/
And activate it, it should enable you to have the sidebar.
You can simply then just navigate to
Themes–>Customize–>Widgets–>Sidebar
and add Widgets
as per your comfort.
Hope this helps, let us know for any further questions..! -
@cencifancesco,

That is correct. The sidebar widget area of the Baskerville 2 theme cannot be displayed on the blog page, the page the displays your latest posts. The only available widget areas for the blog page are the three optional Footer widget areas.
