I’ve just changed my theme to Baskerville but am missing my sidebar. I’ve played around for ages trying to find a way to bring it up but no luck. My blog is: https://beemerbird.wordpress.com/ Many thanks for any help.

I have now solved the problem! It took a little while to understand how ‘Baskerville’ works!

Hello
I’m afraid I may not be too helpful with this question because I tried so many things that I can’t remember exactly what I did now. I’m fairly sure my problem was due to inserting a photo in the Centre or Right position instead of the Left. This obviously didn’t leave room for the sidebar and it disappeared. Inserting photos on the Left seemed to work. On the first page of my blog it shows recent posts, and no sidebar, but if you click on an individual post then that post does have the sidebar. I hope this helps! -
Not every theme has a sidebar and on themes that do have one or more they may not display on every page in the blog, or a link must be clicked to view them.
The detailed theme description page is here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/baskerville/
Scroll down to “Widgets” on that page. For more see https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/
