sidebar moved from "home" to about page, how to undo!
-
My sidebar (links, flickr, twitter etc) moved to my about page from my home page.
I don’t know how or why. I want it to be back on my home page. How do I do that?
The only thing I changed was my photo on my about page, updated it, and then suddenly the sidebar was on that page instead. I have since posted a new post, by the sidebar didn’t move back.
I tried to figure it out, but couldn’t. Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

ok, darn. It’s way at the bottom of my home page.
how? why?
I want it to be like how it is on my about page – on the side.
I don’t mind it being on the about page if it’s on the home page – in the right spot mind you.so still…Help!

Re: sidebar contents falling and displaying under the posts
This is typically caused by an open HTML tag in one of your posts. And is frequently created by copying and pasting text without using the appropriate icons either 5 ( Paste as Plain Text ) or ( Paste from Word) in Row 2 of the Visual editor to strip extraneous code and insert the remainder into a post. It can also be a result of importing text contained invalid HTML. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2Go to settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “Save Changes.”
Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal. If not, open the next post and do the same thing until it goes back to normal.

I also note that your blog takes a long time to load. You have too many posts containing too many images on your front page for it to load quickly. Page loading time is a page ranking factor and the way we reduce it is:
(1) reduce the number of posts displaying on your front page > Settings > Reading
Blog pages show at most — posts
change the number there and then click “save changes”
(2) insert the more tag into your posts so only an brief introduction is displayed on the front page and visitors click a “read more” link to read the whole post on it’s own page.

Thank you timethief! You solved my problem!
I’ve also taken your advice about the read more option. I’ve used it before, but get forgetful of it regularily. I should be kind to my readers and also try not to harm my own ranking. :)
Thanks!!!
