SIdebar moved mysteriously. Need HTML help FAST!

At least others can view my page normally. That is a relief. It’s just that I’d love to know why my lap top decided to freak out on me all of a sudden…
I really appreciate your help!

Sure, you could try doing that – it certainly won’t hurt.
It definitely doesn’t look “off” to us!

Reinstalling Chrome did not help. My site still looks wonky with no sidebar.
I await any wisdom you might have…

What is the laptop you’re using? Maybe there was a software update that we’re not aware of that is affecting Chrome somehow…we could try looking it up!

It’s a Toshiba Satellite L505D with a 64 bit operating system, AMD Turion II Dual Core Mobile M500 2.20 GHz
I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Hi Lorna, thank you for this additional information. I’ll continue to look further, but for now your setup did not provide a cue for the issue you are describing :(
Some other checks that could potentially provide cues:
1) Does the sidebar at the bottom only appear on your homepage, or individual post pages as well? For example, do you see the same issue on this page in Chrome: http://lornasvoice.com/2012/09/14/im-totally-cat-woman-in-an-awesome-not-creepy-way-part-3/ ?
2) Around the same time that the issue started appearing, did you change some design elements of your site, for example, changed your Custom Fonts under Appearance > Custom Design? -
I went all the way back to my first posts and the side bar is gone from the top left.
I did go in and adjust fonts AFTER the side bar disappear, but not before. So I really don’t think it’s anything I did with the theme. If you want, you could restore the original settings to the theme (I’m not sure how to do that). Or tell me how to do that. But I’m pretty sure that’s not it.
When I re-installed Chrome, I did it from explorer. But all my settings for Chrome remained the same. Should I have de-installed Chrome first than re-stalled it? I wonder if it never properly re-installed…

Yes, you can save your bookmarks! You can go to Settings in Chrome and set up your sync preferences: chrome://chrome/settings/
This will save these settings with Google, so when you next install Google Chrome, you should be able to log in and sync up right away!

YES! Uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome WORKED! Issue resolved. My page looks normal.
Thanks again for all your help and have a Happy New Year!
Lorna
