Sidebar moved to bottom of page.

The sidebar has moved to the bottom of the screen on my home page, even though I didn’t want it to. I also want only my most recent blog posted on the home page with the sidebar with links to other pages. Basically I want the home page to look like the page with the most recent blog.

I looked at the html text as instructed on the support page, but saw no <div> parts to remove.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s the way the theme is designed: it displays the sidebar below the featured posts section. It looks wrong to you because you’ve published only two posts. Check the theme demo:

Typo doesn’t have a sidebar: it has footer widget areas. If you need a sidebar you need a different theme.

well that sucks. i suppose i’ll change my theme after add more posts. but i am just starting to like this one, plus it took me a few days to customize it to this point. i’ll change it later just so that all my hard work and effort won’t be in vain. thank you thank you for the info. it is much appreciated.

Always explore a theme in the Theme Showcase and test it out first–the showcase will tell you what features it has and the demo shows you how all of those features look. That way, you will know if the Theme is right for you.

You can add a category to a post while writing it. There is a box that lists all of your available categories, as well as an option to add a new one. You can also add a post to a category after it is published by editing it.

One very good way to explore a new theme, especially after you have some pages and posts on your site, is to set up a private test blog.

Export the content from your live on-line blog, import that into your private test blog, so then you’ll be able to see exactly how a different theme shows your material.

Meanwhile your live site is still available for your readers who don’t necessarily need to see your experiments.
