Sidebar not appearing

  My sidebar is not appearing correctly. I want to add the copyright notice to the sidebar where it is prominent, right now it is in a widget but that is located at the bottom of the page in the left footer (so it looks weird).

  Consult your theme description please and take note that the theme is a one column theme that’s not designed to have a sidebar at all http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/manifest/

  Widgets
  Even though Manifest doesn’t display widgets by default, it has support for two widget areas in the footer. To activate those, you just need to drag your widgets there.
