sidebar not appearing in all pages

  please help…

  I want my sidebar to appear in all the pages in my blog. The thing is, it is not visible on the page (i.e HOME) where I want it most to appear. I am also puzzled why said page is missing in the list of pages that i can ‘manage’.

  I hope you could help me. Thank you very much for the support.

  Some themes do not have widgets at all thus, thus there is no sidebar on any page. Some have sidebars only on the front page. When you give us your wordpress.com blog’s url sulz can look at it and see what you are talking about.

  I just came from your site and can’t find one example of the sidebar not showing up. Could you provide a specific URL of a page that it is not working on? What browser are you viewing the page that doesn’t work on is also useful. I looked on Firefox and Safari and it works for me.

  i see your sidebar where it should be for the first url. what browser are you using? perhaps you can try viewing your blog from a different browser and see if your blog has the same problem?

  I see your sidebar as well. Have you tried clearing your cache? (Control+F5)

  I suspect you are using IE as your browser and you have some stuff in the main page that is too wide and causing the layout to break and the sidebar to go to the bottom of the page.

  On the “Justine did it again” post, the tables are too wide for the post area.

  I don’t know what the maximum post width area is on Vault 9, but from my little bit of experimenting, it appears to be around 490px. Make your tables that width or less and the problem should go away.

  I meant the theme “contempt” not Vault 9, which is the author. I just looked here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/09/25/how-big-can-my-images-be/ and the maximum width of an image or like for Contempt is 440px.

  I think it is the IE browser I am using. I narrowed down the columns mentioned by thesacredpath and sidebar appeared.
