Sidebar not displaying
-
My sidebar doesn’t display when a follower clicks on the link in the post title in my new post notification e-mail. What I want is for my followers to be able to see my full site including the sidebar when they click through to view the post. At the moment, the full page shows only when a follower clicks on my name underneath the post title. Also, how can I stop the whole of my new post showing in the notification e-mail?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Mike,
As far as the page it links to, it would be something like this: http://thepedallingphotographer.com/2013/11/04/before-the-big-storm/ . That’s your post’s actual permanent page (the post’s “permalink”).
With the particular theme you’re using, it doesn’t include the sidebar on post permalink pages. A theme close to it, Twenty Twelve, does offer that option. You can see more about the theme and a link to the demo at http://themes.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve
As far as only showing a summary in the notification e-mail, you can change that setting via your site’s Dashboard in the Settings->Reading page (direct link: https://photolinkimages.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php ) and change the “For each article in a feed, show” option to summary.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything. Cheers!
