Sidebar not displaying on front page

  My primary sidebar doesn’t show on my front page. I also want to add a subscription option to my primary sidebar.

  You have selected to have a full-width page template and that means no sidebar.

  Five layout choices are available for this theme: One-column, Two-column, left content; Two-column, right content; Three-column, center content; Three-column, left content. Select your favorite layout from Appearance → Theme Options.

  Regardless of which layout you choose, there is also a full-width page template for removing the sidebar from pages. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/adventure-journal/
