Sidebar not showing on pages

  The side bar is not showing on my blog. I have the theme twenty eleven which gives 3 layout options. I have chosen content left with sidebar on the right. I have added widgets to the main sidebar and showcase sidebar and nothing seems to be showing up. They appear in the drop down sidebar menus and I have changed the visibility rules to show on every page. I followed the steps you suggested if your layout isn’t showing properly and have found nothing helpful.

  Hi there,

  The TwentyEleven theme doesn’t have sidebars for widgets on pages, only on posts. There are a few themes with this little peculiarity, though not many. Unfortunately there’s no way to make sidebars appear on pages. If you must have widget functionality on the pages which you’ve created you’ll have to choose another theme.
