sidebar on bottom of page
-
Removed text widgets and entered new posts. Viewed site and the sidebar hit the bottom.
What went wrong? -
Set your blog to display only one post per page (settings > reading) and then go through them one at a time until you find the post or posts that are causing the issues. The look at the stuff in the link Vivian provided.

Thank you, just did what you suggested. Line down the side of page, but everything else still at the bottom. Removed some text widgets, a new post. Seems kind of crazy, but it all worked just great about an hour ago.
Went into settings and made a change to my header, everything sitll worked just fine.
Approved a comment, worked fine.
Even changed the theme, no go.Things went nuts when I posted on Pennsylvania selling the turnpike, things headed south of the border. Deleted post.
Live in the State, gremlims must be after me. -
Actually, it still worked with Pennsylvania, had that window open and just checked it out.

sidebar still in the right location.
Seems that this all went wrong when I edited the widgets and removed them.Had some trouble with the link button tonight also would not add to the post.

There is definitely something wrong with the post dated 9/18 – American Highways for Sale. When I look at any other day, the blog is fine. That post is screwing up the layout.

Glad to help. And you may want to put your blog name in your user name to make it easier for volunteers in the forum to find your blog https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-make-your-name-link-to-your-blog?replies=54

At the bottom of the first post you have
<a meta="" href="http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-07-15-u.s.-<br /> highways_x.htm”><br /> —————————————-</p> </div></div> <div class=">Published in: </a>Remove all of the above (go into the HTML tab). I don’t know what happened there but that is a total no-go on coding.
