  I’m trying to change the sidebar message: What’s this? You are currently reading (title of post) at. How do I do that?

  You cannot change that. That is automatically generated by the theme itself. It is the way it was designed. With the custom design upgrade it could be hidden via CSS.

  So I can’t finish the sentence: You are currently reading (title of post) at . ? That is how it reads right now!
  I was hoping for a way to modify this other than changing the theme. Thanks for your answer though!

  The sentence is supposed to finish with the title of the blog, which you have deleted (and that’s very bad for search engines).
