Sidebar Pages
-
I would like to put certain pages in my sidebar, but when I add a new page, it adds it to the header automatically. I understand how to do a custom menu (I think), but I want my sidebar pages to be different from my header pages. I am using the Elemin theme if that helps.

Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. Posting to this forum is not likely to be productive. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Please click this link and post to that forum for theme support. Every theme is different so I cannot provide an accurate answer that applies to your situation.

Hi 76classic,
This is a pretty common issue, and can easily be solved with a custom menu. I’d suggest making two menus, one for the main navigation at the top of the site, and one for the sidebar. To learn how to make a menu, and add pages to it, start here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
It’s a pretty simple feature, yet powerful because you can control what links go in each menu.
Then, you can assign the main nav menu to the top navigation, and add the second to the sidebar as a widget.
If you have further questions — or need clarification, we’ll be happy to help.
