Sidebar Pics Won't Load
-
At my wit’s end here. Been trying to post a picture for three freaking hours now. On Blogger.com, it is literally a matter of cut, paste and done. Here, it’s completely unclear, complicated and excruciating, so after 20 minutes of research, I find out that you have to go to create a page, insert an image on that page, publish it, and then enter the url into your image widget on the sidebar.
Jesus. Really? Counterintuitive as hell.
Finally got a pic to load (this was a week ago) and now today, go to do the exact same thing and every pic I load shows up as a white box with nothing in it on the sidebar. I’m about an inch away from abandoning this incredibly user-unfriendly site altogether.
All I want is an image to show up on the sidebar that has a link on it that takes the user to the desired site. Why is this like brain surgery?!? And the only tips I can find suggest things that wouldn’t have allowed the first pic to be loaded a week ago if it were the problem.
Can ANYONE help me figure this out?!?

Jesus. Really?No.
One way to do it is upload the image from your computer via Media > Add New, copy the File URL you’ll get, use that URL in the Image widget. And I’m not seeing any “white box with nothing in it on the sidebar” on the blog linked to your username. Are you talking about a different blog?
