Sidebar problem

I’ve lost my photo, recent comments & stats from the sidebar. All that appears are the categories.

    sorry, that should read alpineopinion.com

That’s a very strange issue. Can you check Dashboard — > Presentations and confirm that they are still in the sidebar widget page, where they’re supposed to be?

I think staff are tweaking some themes over the weekend and this might be related. If it’s not fixed in a few hours, send a feedback (Feedback will re-open in about three hours).

All of my stuff is gone, too. When I look at my custom sidebar under widgets, everything is there and correct, but all that’s displaying on my blog is the blogroll.

It was looking at one of my posts, and when I went back “home” everything had disappeared.

There are suddenly a whack of other threads about this, so it’s not just you. Send email to support at wordpress dot com and they’ll get on it ASAP.

Wait, if the widgets are not in Sidebar Widgets, can you just put them back?

My site is so different. Things missing from my sidebars and images on the sidebars and recent comments and recent posts and clickable images that lead to threads and charitable organizations.

No, putting widgets back worked fine in theory — did that and saved them — but they still don’t show up.

Mine is screwed up also. Major WP things seem to be going wrong so often lately, that it’s getting very, very frustrating. It’s getting pretty bad when you begin to just expect it….

My sidebar does not seem to align at the top of the page! I’m reading my blog with IE6. Never experienced this problem before, but WordPress does feel like the early LJ days – lots of problems and stuff. Maybe another 3 years down the road and all these teething problems will be over.

Did you happen to add an image to a post recently? This isn’t a template problem but is usually caused by a large image that breaks out of the column space.

Ahem: it’s way easier to help solve your problems if you link your username to your blog. You do that on the Profile page…then we can see the blog directly and give you useful feedback.
