sidebar problem
-
I want an archives widget on my sidebar to show on only one page of my site, the page called ‘Blog’.
I do not want this widget to appear on all the other pages.
Can this be done and if so, how?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On the right hand side of the page editor (for example at https://fghandbags.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=262&action=edit) you can select the page template. Select the ‘One Column, No Sidebar’ option to remove the sidebar from that page.

Thank you but yes, I know about this. But this doesn´t help me as what I want is the archives widget for my page called ‘Blog’ and then other information in my sidebar for all the other pages. If you have a look at my website you´ll see what I mean.
Ie. I want 2 different sidebars, one for my page called ‘blog’ and one for all the other pages on my site. -
I see what you mean now. You can adjust the widget visibility settings to show a widget on a specific page. Follow the steps in this guide to learn more about this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
