  How do I move the sidebar from the bottom to the side in Twenty Sixteen? Thanks!

  Looks like you need help with a different site. maureendriscollromance.wordpress.com is sporting Chateau theme.

  Twenty Sixteen theme has three widget areas (Sidebar, Content Bottom 1 and 2 ) which you can find in Widgets dashboard screen at https://maureendriscollromance.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
  after you activate Twenty Sixteen.

  You can remove your widgets from Content Bottom 1 and 2 areas and add them to Sidebar area. This will free up bottom area and all your widgets will be on the sidebar.
