  Hi,
  Having trouble finding where to edit the sidebar widget on basic wordpress blog. Tutorials seem to have a different page layout that has more options. Help much appreciated,

  Hi there,

  You can access your widgets by going to your WP Admin dashboard. You simply add /wp-admin to the end of your sites URL like so:

  https://foxharris.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  From there, look to the left sidebar for Appearance>Widgets. You can manage Widgets there.

  You can also click on My Sites>Customize>Widgets

  Let me know how that goes.
