Sidebar updates

  Hello, I am confused as to how to update text in a sidebar on my site. I thought I set it up in my ‘About’ page, and it appears on every page of my site, but when I update the ‘About’ page, changes are not taking effect. Perhaps I’m confused about where I’ve embedded this text that seems to be bound & determined to stay forever. Can someone please help? The site in question is upandcomingrva.wordpress.com.

  I am confused as to how to update text in a sidebar on my site.

  Sidebar widgets on upandcomingrva.wordpress.com can be changed from My Sites > Customise > Widgets > Primary, then click on a widget to update the text.

  I thought I set it up in my ‘About’ page, and it appears on every page of my site

  You can choose to display certain sidebar widgets on just the about page with the widget visibility settings:

  Widgets

  Or did you mean you only want to display a sidebar on the About page?

  Just let me know and we can go from there.
